HCA Announces Proposed Public Offering of Senior Secured Notes

HCA Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE: HCA) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, HCA Inc., proposes to offer senior secured notes, subject to market and other considerations. Actual terms of the notes, including interest rate and principal amount, will depend on market conditions at the time of pricing. HCA Inc. intends to use the net proceeds of this offering for general corporate purposes, which may include funding all or a portion of the purchase price of its previously announced acquisitions of certain hospitals.

Citigroup, Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, SMBC Nikko, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, UBS Investment Bank and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
