Marnie Smith Joins Korn Ferry Hay Group as Senior Client Partner, Industrial

Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY) today announced that Marnie Smith has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner, Industrial. She will be based out of the Calgary office.

Ms. Smith joins the firm from Macquarie Group, where she spent the past 10 years in investment banking, most recently as Managing Director & Head of Canadian Energy. Prior to joining Macquarie, Ms. Smith was part of the Energy Investment Banking team at a boutique Canadian investment bank, covering domestic and international oil and gas and energy services companies. She also spent time in equities research with a Canadian investment bank specializing in the energy sector.

During her tenure in capital markets, Ms. Smith specialized in public and private companies in the Oil and Gas Upstream, Energy Infrastructure and Midstream, and Energy Services sectors. She has extensive experience working with North American and global energy companies’ executives and boards through the provision of strategic and M&A advice; financing solutions; corporate and asset valuation; and transaction evaluation, execution and negotiations.

She received a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction and a Bachelor of Arts, International Relations, with Distinction from the University of Calgary. Ms. Smith also holds a Master’s of Finance from INSEAD.
