New York Post Digital Network Reaches 43 Million Visitors in August

The New York Post Digital Network, which includes NYPost.comPageSix.com and Decider.com, announced that its digital audience reached an all-time high of 43 million unique visitors in the United States in August, following a record 39 million in July, as reported by comScore.

During the month of August, the Post Digital Network generated 238 million page views, the second time the Post has cleared the 200 million mark. The Post’s digital audience has grown by 89% in the last year and by 304% since August 2013.

The Post is one of 20 largest news/information digital brands in America according to comScore. It now attracts a larger audience than such news brands as The Guardian, Atlantic Media, Politico, NPR, the New York Daily News, and Hearst Newspapers.

Over the past year, the Post’s emphasis on creating engaging video content and distributing media to new platforms has also been very successful. During the month of August, Post videos generated more than 100 million views across all platforms and nearly 15 million unique visitors consumed Post Digital Network content across Facebook’s Instant Article and Google’s AMP platforms.

“We’re very happy to be on this record-breaking trajectory, and it’s not happening by accident,” said Jesse Angelo, CEO and Publisher of the New York Post and Post Digital Network. “Since we oriented ourselves towards a digital-first newsroom, redesigned our sites and launched the Post Digital Network, we have seen success unparalleled by any publisher in the United States, more than tripling our numbers. Editor-in-chief Stephen Lynch and his editorial team deliver content that keeps our visitors informed and entertained, and our Chief Digital Officer Remy Stern and his team have built a nimble and innovative platform, which is now being adapted across other News Corp properties.”
