Wizz Air - Another week another aircraft
9M results were fine as the airline company has already achieved €319 million, the main question (as always) is the winter season thus the Q4 results is the next
milestone. We acknowledge that the company took the opportunity as legacy carriers went down and increased its presence in the region (NIKI), while capacity increase in UK (Monarch) was also an important achievement in the past quarter. WizzAir starts its major delivery program in March, delivering 17 aircraft in 17 weeks. Obviously execution risk increased as well but the capacity increase rather a positive sign before the summer season.
Wizz Air Holding is a European airline. As of Mar 31 2017, Co. provided more than 500 routes from 28 bases, connecting 141 destinations across 42 countries. Co. has two reportable segments: the airline and the tour operator business units, marketed under the Wizz Air and Wizz Tours brand names, respectively. Wizz Air sells flight tickets and related services to external customers and, to an extent, to Wizz Tours. Wizz Tours sells travel packages to external customers covering the network of Wizz Air.
