Clearing the haze

After a dynamic end to 2023, the onset of 2024 has been characterized by a stark contrast, with a marked downturn in market dynamics. This shift introduces a period of significant recalibration after the notable real estate rally (+30%) witnessed at the end of 2023. Although 2023 could be considered a transition year for listed real estate, it certainly was not a year to forget when looking at operational performance. Rents grew by 7.1% on average, 6.1% of which is driven by the indexation. Occupancy remains at close to 97%, highlighting that the owning the right type of assets pays off.
