Alfa-Laval AB is a supplier of products and solutions in the technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. Co.'s equipment is used to heat, cool, separate and transport products in industries that produce food, beverages, fuel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, starch, sugar and ethanol. They are also used aboard vessels, in power plants, in the engineering industry, for treating sludge and wastewater, for heating and cooling, and others. Co.'s products include: air heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, thermal fluid systems, boilers, decanters, belt filter presses, high-speed separators, membrane filtration, pumps and valves, and tank equipment.

Alimak is engaged in the design, development, manufactue, distribution and servicing of vertical access solutions predominantly in rack-and-pinion, and also traction technologies. Co. supplies industrial elevators, hoists and work platforms based on rack-and-pinion technology. At the core of Co.'s products are the Alimak and Hek rack-and-pinion elevator, hoist and work platform brands as well as Heis-Tek traction elevator brand. Co. operates in the following operational segments: Construction Equipment; Industrial Equipment; Rental and After Sales.

Boliden AB produces base metals such as zinc, copper and lead for industrial customers throughout Europe. Co.'s operations are conducted within two business areas, namely Mines and Smelters. Co.'s mining operations comprise eight mines located in four areas: Aitik, the Boliden Area and Garpenberg in Sweden, and Tara in Ireland. Co.'s exploration focuses on deposits that contain zinc, copper and precious metals. Kalmar offering consists of container and cargo handling equipment and related services, automation, software and integration solutions as well as Navis terminal operating systems, Bromma spreaders and Siwertell bulk handling systems. Hiab is a provider of on-road load handling equipment and services. Hiab provides products, services and spare parts that are used in on-road transport and delivery.

At Dec 31 2013 Co.'s real estate portfolio comprised 626 properties, of which 324 were office/retail properties, 263 were warehouse/industrial properties, 16 were for project, and 23 were undeveloped land.

Vacc-4X is being investigated in two phases II trials in collaboration with Celgene Inc.

Trelleborg AB provides engineered polymer solutions.
