Camurus (Buy, TP: SEK275.00) - Another CRL for Brixadi
In a very disappointing move, the FDA has issued another CRL for Brixadi in the US, again citing deficiencies in Camurus’s US partner Braeburn’s third-party manufacturer. This is exactly what happened last year, and we are surprised that Camurus’s partner has not done more to avoid a repeat. Camurus has not said when the situation might be rectified or what the next steps might be. This is clearly negative for the share price.Camurus AB is a Sweden-based research and development based pharmaceutical company with a focus on the development and commercialization of specialty medicines, providing patients suffering from serious and chronic disease, such as opioid dependence, pain, cancer, acromegaly, and neuroendocrine tumors. The Company has a diversified research portfolio, which includes five products in clinical trials, and a number of additional product candidates in the pre-clinical phase.
