CGG (Hold, TP: EUR0.75) - Solid report paves the way for FCF generation

CGG expects Q3 segment revenues of USD270m, broadly in line with our estimate and 9% above consensus. The consensus beat is driven by strong pre-funding sales, partly offset by weaker than expected late sales. We expect the share price to outperform peers today on the back of a solid quarter from CGG.

Co. also provides geosciences services, including data imaging, seismic data characterization, geosciences and petroleum engineering consulting services, and collecting, developing and licensing geological data. Co.'s clients are in oil and gas exploration and production industies.
