Lundbeck reported c3% YOY sales growth in Q2, above our estimate and consensus, driven by Cipralex, Sabril, Abilify Maintena and Nothera. Core EBIT and EBIT saw an even larger beat, with a strong core EBIT margin of 25.8% driven by Covid-19-related cost savings. The 2020 earnings guidance was raised. We expect limited changes to consensus 2020e core EPS, but see the shares outperforming the market slightly today.H. Lundbeck develops, produces and markets drugs for treating diseases of the central nervous system. Products include antidepressants for the treatment of depression, panic disorder, and prevention of relapse/recurrence. Antipsychotic products for psychotic disorders; schizophrenia, anxiety, restlessness and insomnia; treatment of psychotic disorders; acute psychotic episodes, exacerbation of psychotic disorders.
