Hexagon Composites (No_rec, TP: NOK) - Initiates strategic review of Ragasco
Seeing substantial growth opportunities for Ragasco (Hexagon Composites’ LPG cylinder business) outside its core market in Europe, the company has initiated a strategic review for the business. We believe a sale of Ragasco would leave the company fully focused on its core mobility-related business (Agility) as well as enhance liquidity. Given DNB Markets’ role in the strategic review of the company’s LPG business, we have withdrawn our target price and recommendation.Hexagon Composites is divided into three business segments. Co.'s Hexagon Ragasco segment manufactures low-pressue composite cylinders, such as cylinders for propane gas; and Co.'s Hexagon Lincoln/Hexagon Raufoss segment develops and supplies complete storage and transport systems for natural gas and hydrogen to the bus and automotive industry and for bulk transport of compressed gas. The Group's activities are divided into the following regions: Europe, North America, South-East Asia, Middle East and South America.
