Scandic Hotels (Buy, TP: SEK46.00) - Continued occupancy recovery
With Q3 pre-announced, the Q3 report was as expected, while the October occupancy outlook (c58%) with a further strengthening expected in November (>60%) added support to our forecasts. We expect Scandic Hotels to return to net profit in 2022, and consider it likely to be a prime beneficiary of a post-pandemic recovery in Nordic hospitality demand given its market-leading footprint. Our 2023 forecasts suggest it can get close to its 11% EBITDA margin target on Nordic RevPAR 8–15% below the 2019 level. We reiterate our BUY and SEK46 target price.Scandic Hotels Group AB is a Sweden-based company engaged, along with its subsidiaries, in the operation of hotels. The Company's main market in which the Group operates in: Sweden, which includes Swedish hotels that are operated under the Scandic brand; Norway, which includes Norwegian hotels that are operated under the Scandic brand, and Other Nordic countries & segments include hotel operation in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Poland and Germany, as well as the hotel concept HTL, which is operated by the sub-group HTL Hotels.
