Stora Enso (Hold, TP: EUR11.50) - Still waiting for clarity

Stora Enso reported robust results in Q2, driven mainly by self-help factors in an increasingly challenging market. Cost-saving efforts, input cost deflation and FX played key roles in yet another ‘better than feared’ report. Market expectations are for a strong earnings recovery in 2021e, which in our view leans heavily on positive market trends, for which the results provided little support. We have increased our 2020–2022e EBIT by 8–15% and our target price to EUR11.5 (10.5), but we reiterate our HOLD.
