Daily Insight -- Liquidity outflow to budget
​The net impact of non-monetary operations on Monday was negative UAH1.19bn, which were partially offset by a UAH0.39bn increase in cash and UAH0.02bn in other operations. As a result, these cashflows caused a UAH0.79bn decline in liquidity to UAH109.97bn.
Banks' correspondent accounts with the NBU fell UAH0.66bn to UAH44.75bn while total CDs outstanding slid UAH0.13bn to UAH65.22bn. At the same time, banks increased ON CDs to UAH10.03bn as they decreased new purchases of longer term instruments.
