After a lockdown-induced sharp collapse in 2Q20, the economy rapidly recovered in the next quarter, exceeding expectations of most economic forecasters. However, growth momentum slowed in the autumn amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic and the tightening of quarantine measures both in Ukraine and in other European countries.
