Aalberts Industries is a technology company. As of Dec 31 2015, Co. is organized into four businesses: building installations, which produces and sells connection systems and valves to distribute and control water or gas in heating, cooling, drinking water, gas and sprinkler installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings; climate control, which develops and produces complete hydronic systems-from source to emitter- for heating and cooling systems; industrial controls, which develops and produces regulation and control systems for selected niche markets; and industrial services, which provides a combination of material technology know-how and manufacturing capabilities.
Heineken Holding is a holding company based in the Netherlands. Through its subsidiaries, Co. promotes the continuity, independence and stability of the Heineken group. This creates the conditions which enable Heineken N.V. to pursue its long-term policy in the interest of the shareholders, the staff and other stakeholders. Co. does not engage in operational activities itself. These have been assigned within the Heineken group to Heineken N.V. and its subsidiaries and associated companies. Through Heineken N.V., Co. is involved in the brewing and selling of beer.
Heineken is an international brewer and engaged in the production and distribution of beer brands in 178 countries. Co. is committed to the marketing and consumption of its more than 250 international premium, regional, local and specialty beers and ciders. These include Heineken®, Amstel, Anchor, Biere Larue, Bintang, Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, Desperados, Dos Equis, Foster's, Newcastle Brown Ale, Ochota, Primus, Sagres, Sol, Star, Strongbow, Tecate, Tiger and Zywiec. In addition, Co. is the cider maker with brands such as Strongbow® and Bulmer's®. Some of its wholesalers also distribute wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Retail Estates is a niche fixed-capital real estate investment fund that invests in retail properties located on the periphery of residential areas or along access roads to urban centers. Co. buys properties from third parties or builds and markets shop premises for its own account. The outlets have a built on surface areas of between 500m2 and 3,000m2. A typical retail property has an average surface area of 1,000m2. As of Mar 2010 Co. had 399 premises in its portfolio. The retail lettable area amounted to 398,754m2.
