Co. invests: in existing and already leased buildings; and in projects with future completion. Through its subsidiaries, Co. operates in the European bedroom furnishings market and offers mattresses, box springs, bed bases, bedroom furniture, bed textiles and other related items. Co.'s activities include retail trade through 1,159 stores that operate via the chains Beter Bed (active in the Netherlands), Matratzen Concord (active in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Poland), El Gigante del Colchon (active in Spain), BeddenREUS, Dormaeel and Slaapgenoten (all three active in the Netherlands) and MAV (active in Germany). Co. is also active in developing and selling branded products in the bedroom furnishings sector.

Bone Therapeutics is a biotechnology company with an advanced clinical pipeline of cell products for orthopaedic conditions and bone diseases (two Phase II/III and three Phase I/II clinical studies). Co.'s Lactic acid operations involve the production of lactic acid and lactic acid derivatives which are used in food, pharmaceutical and technical products. Euronav is a provider of maritime shipping and offshore services engaged primarily in the transportation and storage of crude oil. As of Apr. 4, 2017, Co. owned and operated a modern fleet of 55 vessels (including four chartered-in vessels) with an aggregate carrying capacity of approximately 13.7 million deadweight tons, or dwt, consisting of 31 very large crude carriers, one ultra large crude carrier, 21 Suezmax vessels, and two floating, storage and offloading vessels. Co. has two operating segments: the operation of crude oil tankers on the international markets (tankers) and the floating production, storage and offloading operations.

Co., through it's subsidiary EXMAR Shipmanagement, provides ship management and ancillary services to ship owners, including regasification and liquefication; other services offered by Co. include insurance brokerage (managed by its subsidiary Belgibo) and an in-house travel agency (Travel Plus).
