Compagnie du Bois Sauvage SA, (also CBS), is a Belgium-based holding company that invests in both listed and unlisted companies. The Company provides assistance in financial management, structural development and capital stability to the companies in which it invests. The Company's portfolio is based on three separate pillars: a Real Estate sector, a Long-Term Investment division composed of strategic participating interests and a Cash Portfolio focused on liquid values that serve as a basis for derivatives activity. As of December 31, 2011, CBS had a number of wholly owned subsidiaries, such as Parfina, CBS Services, Neuhaus and CBS Nederland and affiliated companies, including Cofinimmo, Ceran, Codic, Noel Group, among others. In March 2014, it acquired Chocolate-Maker Corne Port Royal, sold its stake in Ceran and a real estate property in Luxembourg.
EVS Broadcasting Equipment is engaged in the development and marketing of audiovisual equipment relating to the processing of pictures and sound. Co. provides solutions based on tapeless workflows with a consistent modular architecture. Co.'s activities are divided into the following regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and America.
Exmar is a diversified and independent industrial shipping group that serves the international oil and gas industry. Co. provides ships for products transport and performs studies, undertaking the management of commercial, technical or administrative activities. Co. specializes in gas transport activities, particularly Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Ammonia (NH3). Co., through it's subsidiary EXMAR Shipmanagement, provides ship management and ancillary services to ship owners, including regasification and liquefication; other services offered by Co. include insurance brokerage (managed by its subsidiary Belgibo) and an in-house travel agency (Travel Plus).
Fagron supplies products, services to professionals and institutions in the healthcare sector in Europe, the U.S.A. and Brazil. Co.'s activities are subdivided into four divisions. Through Fagron, Co. offers products and concepts for pharmaceutical compounding. Through Arseus Dental, Co. supplies dental products and concepts to dentists and dental laboratories in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland. Through Arseus Medical, Co. supplies medical and surgical products to specialists, elderly homes, homecare nurses and hospitals in Belgium and the Netherlands. Through Corilus, Co. supplies ICT total solutions for medical specialists in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
Groupe Bruxelles Lambert is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. operates through the following segments: Imerys, which consists of the Imerys group that operates in four business lines of energy solutions and specialties, filtration and performance additives, ceramic materials, and high resistance minerals; and Financial Pillar, which includes, on the one hand, under investment activities, the companies Sienna Capital, Ergon Capital Partners (ECP), ECP II, ECP III, PAI Europe III, Sagard, Sagard II and Sagard III, Kartesia and Merieux Participations I and II and, on the other hand, under consolidated operating activities, the operating subsidiaries of ECP III.
Wessanen is a company in the European organic food market. Operating mainly in France, Benelux, the United Kingdom and Germany, Co. manages and develops its brands and products in the grocery and health food channels. Co. also produces and markets frozen snack products in the Benelux and fruits drinks and cocktail mixers in the United States. Co.'s continuing operations are presented in three segments: Wessanen Europe, Frozen Foods and American Beverage Corporation.
