Co. is engaged in the Bakery Supplies and Lactic Acid business. Co.'s operations are divided into two segments: Bakery operations and Lactic acid operations. Co.'s Bakery operations comprise the development, production and sale of bakery ingredients and products. Co.'s Lactic acid operations involve the production of lactic acid and lactic acid derivatives which are used in food, pharmaceutical and technical products. Co. operates mostly in Europe and North America. Co.'s brands are Waldkorn, Kate's cakes, Purac, Carel, MeisterMarken.
Greenyard processes and commercializes fruits, vegetables, and ready-to eat food products in France, the United kingdom, Germany, Belgium, other EU-countries, and internationally. Co.'s operation is divided into two divisions: The frozen division known as Pinguin and the canning division under the name of Noliko. The Frozen division offers frozen vegetables and fruits, deep-frozen vegetable dishes, and ready-to-use meals to retail, food service, and food industry. The Canning division processes vegetables and fruit from the field into preserved foods in cans and jars. The division also prepares ready-to-eat food such as soups, sauces, dips and pasta dishes.
PostNL is a mail, parcel and e-commerce corporation with operations in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Co. has been assigned by the Dutch government to carry out the UPD (Universele Postdienst, Dutch for Universal Postal Service). Carrying out the UPD requires, amongst other things, Co. to deliver mail throughout the Netherlands five days a week (Tuesday through Saturday) and to maintain enough mailboxes in the country. ACM is charged with monitoring and enforcing the execution by Co. Co.'s operations are organized along three business segments: Mail in the Netherlands; Parcels; and International. Co. maintains over ten networks across thirteen countries.
