Inventiva 1H25 holds no surprises, cash runway and topline data guidance confirmed

Inventiva reported 1H25 results which hold no surprises, and confirmed its cash runway guidance to the end of 3Q26 and timeline for the topline readout from the phase 3 (NATiV3) trial of lanifibranor in MASH, which continues to be guided for 2H26. We believe this readout is de-risked by strong phase 2b data, and with oral dosing and clean safety (limited GI side effects), lanifibranor is well positioned to capture a meaningful share of the validated MASH commercial opportunity. Given relative undervaluation, we reiterate our € 8 TP and BUY rating.
