Zealand Pharma Announces Metabolic Frontier 2030 strategy, and agreement with OTR
Zealand will host a CMD this afternoon to outline its Metabolic Frontier 2030 strategy to become a generational biotech leader in metabolic health. The company targets 5 launches, and 10+ clinical pipeline programs by 2030. In addition, the company announced a collaboration agreement with OTR therapeutics for the discovery of small molecule metabolic targets. We are encouraged by the clear targets and partnership with OTR therapeutics, demonstrating Zealand is willing to go beyond its usual area of expertise being peptides. This will provide Zealand with pipeline optionality, which we think will be key to remain relevant in the fast evolving metabolic space.
