Falling Land Price Slight Negative for Henderson Land
The result of the last Hong Kong government land auction of 2018 was a slight negative for Henderson Land. A plot in Kai Tak was sold at an accommodation value 10% lower than the average price the company paid for three neighboring plots during the year. The lower transaction price marked a slowdown in the land auction market, dovetailing the trend seen in residential property sector.
