Tingyi reported another disappointing quarterly result, with revenue and net profit both falling short of our expectations. In the second quarter, its revenue decreased 18% year over year to $2.09 billion, with the beverages (64% of sales) and instant noodles (34% of sales) segments plunging 21.1% and 11.6% year over year, respectively, mainly owing to a confusing pricing strategy and a lack of innovative products.
