CMBC’s Aggressive Asset Growth Failed to Offset NIM Compression in 2016

Despite decent revenue growth of 3.8% from 2015, China Minsheng Bank’s, or CMBC's, 2016 results indicated that growth remained weaker than peers during the challenging period. The 0.5% revenue growth was mainly driven by a 2.1% and 0.4% growth in fee income and net interest income, respectively.
