Allstate Moves Past Headwinds in 2Q
Allstate’s second-quarter results were largely positive, and provided further evidence that the company is moving past the headwinds that have been affecting its personal auto line. Despite relatively heavy catastrophe losses, the combined ratio improved to 97.2% from 100.8% last year.
