Lowering Our Archer-Daniels-Midland FVE to $43 as Near-Term Trading Difficulties Persist

Archer-Daniels-Midland third-quarter adjusted segment operating profit fell 17% year on year to $541 million because of weakness in the agricultural services and oilseeds processing segments. We expect the difficult trading environment to persist and as a result, we’ve trimmed our fair value estimate to $43 per share from $44. Our no-moat rating is unchanged.
