Avnet’s Expansive Network Merits a Narrow Moat, but Losses Warrant Caution; Lowering FVE to $42

After taking a fresh look at Avnet, a value-added distributor of electronic components, we are upgrading it to a narrow economic moat, maintaining our stable moat trend rating, and decreasing our fair value estimate to $42 per share from $45.
