Monsanto-Bayer Deal Raises Regulatory Scrutiny for Ag Tie-Ups, but All Deals Still Likely to Close

With Monsanto finally accepting Bayer's purchase offer, anti-trust regulators have a full plate of seed and crop chemical tie-ups to review. With several potential deals being considered together, we think the probability that each of the deals will be approved has fallen compared with a scenario where of each deals face the regulatory bodies on their own.
