Carrefour faces ongoing price re-positioning and promotional investments in its local market.
We are reducing our Carrefour fair value estimate from EUR 21 to EUR 18.5 after reviewing the company’s second-half results, primarily due to the poor operational performance in France, its largest market. We expect the Group to face difficulty in the French market for the full year and medium-term since its journey to redefine its price re-positioning is ongoing.
