Carrefour's Third-Quarter Sales Confirm French Recovery

No-moat Carrefour reported in-line third-quarter sales, which confirmed the recovery in France is under way after a difficult first half, while Latin America is booming on the back of high inflation. We are only making minor changes to our earnings forecasts, mostly revising down 2016 estimates as a result of a more negative foreign exchange impact, and maintaining our EUR 23.50 fair value estimate.
