China Telecom is making the most of the telecom reorganisation by developing its business.
China Telecom’s first-quarter 2016 result presented similar patterns to that of China Unicom, with strong subscriber and revenue growth offset by increased costs associated with customer acquisitions and network rollouts, resulting in reduced operating earnings. However, the negative cost impact on China Telecom was lower than that for China Unicom.
