Fiat Chrysler 2017 Results Impress, Outlook Shows More to Come
No-moat-rated Fiat Chrysler reported 2017 earnings per share before special items of EUR 2.41, EUR 0.11 better than sell-side consensus and a whopping EUR 0.77 higher than the prior year. Despite virtually flat year-over-year revenue, EBIT before special items (adjusted EBIT) jumped an impressive 16% as margin expanded in all regions, at Maserati, and for the components group, too.
