Fiat Chrysler Reports Solid Improvement in 1Q Results, Maintain EUR 20 FVE
No-moat-rated Fiat Chrysler reported first-quarter earnings per share before special items, or EPS, of EUR 0.66, EUR 0.04 shy of consensus EPS of EUR 0.70 but EUR 0.23 better than the same period last year. Revenue was EUR 27.0 billion, down 3% on negative foreign currency translation. Excluding the currency effect, revenue would have increased 9% compared with the first quarter of 2017.
