Geberit Reports Weak 2Q Results
Geberit's first-half 2017 results showed slower revenue growth than full-year 2016 and continued margin pressure from a year-over-year increase in raw material prices, as well as wage inflation. First-half organic revenue rose by 2.8%, less than half of the 6.4% reported in 2016 and just below the 3%-4% organic 2017 revenue growth guidance. On a reported basis, net sales increased by only 0.7% in the quarter, due to currency impacts.
