GE Announces 2018 Slate for Board of Directors, Adding Experts in Key Areas

On Feb. 26, General Electric announced the slate of director candidates for its April 2018 annual meeting. We consider this a positive development because we believe the firm is appropriately adding expertise in critical fields, adding fresh decision-makers, and prudently reducing the size of its board from 17 to 12 directors. We maintain our moat, fair value estimate, and Poor stewardship rating for GE.
