GE Begins Its Great Unwind
GE announced the results of its strategic review on June 26 and telegraphed its intention to focus on three segments going forward: Aviation, Power, and Renewable Energy. As part of this move toward a more focused portfolio, GE is spinning off GE Healthcare as a standalone company and is separating out Baker Hughes.
