HCA Results Meet Expectations Amid Healthcare Reform Uncertainty
HCA’s fourth-quarter results held steady with recent trends and were consistent with our expectations. Our 2017 revenue and EBITDA projections of $43.7 billion and $8.6 billion, respectively, both fall within management’s outlook for the year. The company expects to invest approximately $2.9 billion in capital expenditures, a roughly 5% increase for the year, which is roughly in line with our forecast for $2.8 billion. The company's psychiatric hospitals provide therapeutic programs including child, adolescent and adult psychiatric care, adolescent and adult alcohol and drug abuse treatment and counseling.
