H&M Reports Disappointing Fiscal 2016 Sales; Shares Still Overvalued

Narrow-moat H&M reported 6% sales growth for fiscal year 2016 including value-added tax (7% in local currency), slightly below our 6.7% estimate and well below last year’s 19% growth rate (11% in local currency). As the gap between our already muted expectation and actual performance is relatively small, we expect little change to our SEK 241 fair value estimate.
