Icon's 2Q Results Largely Meet Expectations; Increasing FVE to $91 Following Mapi Acquisition
Following Icon’s second-quarter earnings, we are increasing our fair value estimate to $91, primarily to account for the time value of money. The company raised its full-year guidance to account for the acquisition of Mapi Group, a health outcomes research and commercialization company that supports Icon’s push into real-world evidence service offerings. Our 2017 estimates fell in the middle of Icon’s updated revenue guidance of $1.74 billion-$1.77 billion (from $1.70 billion-$1.75 billion) and ...Icon is engaged in providing outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
