Despite Jazz's solid current position, Xyrem patent challenges create long-term uncertainty.
Jazz Pharmaceuticals reported fourth-quarter results slightly above our expectations, driven by strong Xyrem and Defitelio growth. Our current Xyrem sales estimate is slightly above management's $1.22 billion-$1.25 billion guidance for 2017. We plan to temper our near-term Xyrem expectations marginally but do not expect the change to materially affect our $128 fair value estimate.
