Motorola Solutions Posts Good 2Q; Good Demand for P25; Shares Overvalued
Motorola Solutions announced a good second quarter as product revenue was spurred by numerous strategic P25 device and system wins. The company raised its full-year revenue and non-GAAP EPS outlook after announcing its result and now expects full-year revenue to grow 3%-4% from around 2% previously and non-GAAP EPS to be $5.20-$5.30 from $5.08-$5.23 previously. The company also sells to commercial and industrial customers who use private radio networks and video security. The Software and Services segment provides a range of solutions for government, public safety and commercial customers.
