Paccar's Fourth Quarter Rebounds From Third-Quarter Parts Weakness

We are not changing our moat rating or fair value estimate for Paccar after the truck-maker reported fourth-quarter EPS of $0.82, missing consensus of $0.86. Operating margin excluding the finance arm fell by 90 basis points year over year to 9.1%, mostly due to a 70-basis-point reduction in gross margin to 13.9%.
