Pernod Rides the Coattails of the Spirits Revival; Shares a Little Overvalued
The first quarter of fiscal 2017-18 was another strong one for Pernod Ricard. Organic growth of 5.7% was stellar, with growth fairly broad across geographies and with contributions from a growing number of categories. We retain conviction in our longer-term estimates as a result of the volume growth and pricing power demonstrated in these results, and we are reiterating our EUR 110 fair value estimate and our narrow moat rating.
