Peugeot Reports Solid 1H Results: Maintaining EUR 17 FVE
No-moat-rated Peugeot reported solid first-half EPS of $1.95, beating the consensus EPS of EUR 1.82 by EUR 0.13 and EUR 0.37 better than EPS of EUR 1.58 reported last year. Being a French domiciled company, Peugeot reports only revenue in the fiscal first and third quarters and full financial results in the fiscal first half and full year. Consolidated revenue was nearly flat but recurring operating margin expanded by a healthy 90 basis points to 8.7%.
