Press Reports of a Sharp Remuneration Cut for Spanish Gas Utilities
According to an article from Spanish newspaper El Mundo dated Jan. 27, a remuneration cut for the operators of Spanish gas distribution and transmission networks is about to be voted on by the Senate. An amendment would be added to the currently discussed project law on drought on Feb. 1. If the Senate votes for it, it will have still to be voted on at the lower house, where Partido Popular, the prime minister's party, does not have a majority. The remuneration cut would be implemented as of 20...Gas Natural SDG is a gas company based in Spain.
