Sealed Air's Third Quarter Meets Our Expectations; Aims to Complete Diversey Spin by 2H 2017
Results out of Sealed Air's product care segment proved to be the highlight of the third quarter, boosting volumes by just under 3% on particularly strong e-commerce growth in North America. Food Care and Diversey Care both struggled with volumes, largely on weakness in overseas markets. Even so, adjusted EBITDA margins widened 50 basis points to 17.7% on improved profitability in both Food Care and Product Care as anticipated.
