Tenet Healthcare Previews 3Q Adjusted Admission Weakness
Tenet previewed third-quarter results that were negatively affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma, along with negative pressure stemming from the Texas and Florida Medicaid programs. The preview was accompanied by a $150 million cost-reduction initiative. While we are modestly encouraged by Tenet's cost-management initiatives, we do not expect a major change in our fair value estimate as we adjust our model in anticipation of the company's full earnings report.
