Good Full-Year Result for Trustpower; But Outlook Subdued
Narrow-moat Trustpower reported a good fiscal 2017 result, with EBITDA up 12% to NZD 235 million (excluding NZD 17 million in demerger costs) with strong growth in generation earnings offsetting a weaker performance from retail. Adjusted NPAT was NZD 115 million, or NZD 36.6 cents per share. Trustpower is an electric power generation and retail group based in New Zealand. Co. and its subsidiaries are engaged in the development, ownership and operation of electricity generation facilities from renewable energy sources and the retail sale of electricity and telecommunications services to its customers.
