U.S. Concrete's focus on concrete will limit long-term margin expansion.

U.S. Concrete’s revenue rose more than 14% to $1.3 billion in 2017, and adjusted EBITDA rose more than 20% to $192 million. Strong demand from construction end markets and acquisitions fueled the company’s impressive earnings growth during the year. With the larger acquisition of Polaris Materials having just closed in November, acquisitions should contribute meaningful earnings growth in 2018 as well.
