US Cellular’s performance was weak in the quarter, with total revenue down 3% year over year on continued customer loss. The firm also faced tough pricing in the quarter as evidenced by the drop in average revenue and average billing per user, as the firm had to offer unlimited data plans at competitive rates in response to promotions by its larger peers.
