Williams Announces Second Asset Sale in Past Month; Raising Nearly $500 Million to Reduce Debt
Following the March 19 announcement of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board agreement to enter a joint venture with Williams in the Appalachian region, Williams announced its second asset sale in under a month. Williams sold its 50% stake in the Jackalope gathering services venture to its partner, Crestwood Equity Partners, for $485 million.
